The writer for clear, concise and creative communication

HELLO! I AM more widely known as a cartoonist and caricaturist, as you can see from my other website, The London Caricaturist.
However, writing has also been an equal passion and I have sorted, arranged, twisted and mangled words for as long as I can remember. Some of these have ended up as song lyrics, some as stories and quite a few as magazine articles. The overwhelming influence is humour, but my experience as an editor and writer on two magazines has left me with a deep awareness of the redundant phrase or the clumsy word. Cutting out unnecessary verbiage is the key to clear communication. As Linda Mattacks says:
“When we met up yesterday, he took some copy I’d put together and swiftly and surgically removed all the unnecessary rubbish.”
This website and blog will be a portal to my world of clear, concise and creative communication for anyone producing anything intended to be read and understood by other people.
